What Are the General Requirements for Filing a Trademark Application?
A filing date will be accorded as of the date of receipt of the application, provided that the application contains all of the following information and documents:

1. Applicant Details: The full name and address of the applicant;

2. Representation of the Mark: A clear representation or logo of the trademark;

3. Goods and Services: A designated list of goods or services to be covered by the trademark registration;

4. Classification: The applicable Nice/International Classification for the designated goods or services;

5. Formal Application: A duly completed application form;
-
6. Power of Attorney (POA): A signed Power of Attorney, if applicable; and
-
7. Translation & Transliteration: Where the trademark contains words, characters, or alphabets other than Chinese or English, a certified translation and transliteration of the mark must be provided.
